Having completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the esteemed UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital from 2021 to 2023, Dr. Ganios honed her skills in providing comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient population, including those with special health care needs. She gained hands-on experience in an array of pediatric dental procedures, from composite restorations to stainless steel crowns, ensuring her young patients received top-notch care.

During her residency, Dr. Ganios also immersed herself in cutting-edge techniques, such as utilizing lasers and advanced behavior guidance methods, including oral sedation and IV sedation. Moreover, she fearlessly tackled challenging cases, participating in the pediatric emergency department's on-call duties and treating traumatic dental injuries, fractures, and dental infections. Beyond her residency, she has been actively involved in community service, volunteering at events like Give Kids a Smile Day and Remote Area Medical, where she generously provided dental care to underserved and uninsured patients.

Prior to her residency, Dr. Ganios showcased her expertise as a general dentist at Robert J Ripich & Bret Pavlica DDS LLC and Akron Family Dental in 2020-2021. our give: New Patients for New Hope

Since we are so appreciative of our community, we know the best way to show gratitude is to give back. For every new patient we see, Sunflower Pediatric Dentistry will contribute a percentage of revenue to the DDC Clinic Center for Special Needs Children in Middlefield, a medical clinic that is dedicated to patient care, research, and education for individuals with special needs conditions.

What to Expect

When you come to our Burton dental office, you can expect to be part of a warm and friendly environment and a judgment-free zone catered to the rural community of Burton and the surrounding areas. Once we have assessed your child’s needs, we will begin with a cleaning, exam, fluoride, and x-rays. Afterwards, Dr. An will share a treatment plan with you and we can schedule future appointments and sign you up for our Sunflower Smile membership plan.

A Warm, Welcoming Practice

We want every patient to feel relaxed before their appointment, which is why we have a kid’s play area, video games, and headphones. For comfort during an exam, we have TVs on the ceilings of treatment rooms that include Netflix. Our sedation methods and technology are also comforting aspects of our practice, from nitrous oxide and in-house sedation to digital and panoramic radiographs in our imaging suite for lower dose radiation.
